This truly unique complex with its French-Caribbean architectural style was opened in September 1999. Nestling into the foothills of the rich green Conway Ranges the resort is strategically positioned some 60-70 metres above sea level, and features stunning views from the north to the southeast. Including sweeping views of Pioneer Bay and the Whitsunday Islands. A very short walk of only 250 metres from the heart of Airlie Beach.
Perched on the edge of the Coral Sea, the tropical township of Airlie Beach is well known as the Gateway to the world renowned Whitsunday Islands. Airlie Township boasts many shops, a marina, boutiques, award winning restaurants, nightlife and full banking facilities.
The Whitsunday township, incorporating Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Shute Harbour is the closest mainland resort town servicing the Whitsunday Islands. Shute Harbour is one of the busiest ports in Queensland providing water taxi services to the Islands, tourist shuttles to the Great Barrier Reef and holiday Charter boats for visitors. The harbour has undergone major works to upgrade tourist facilities as well as provide anchorage for Passenger Liner ships. Airlie has a large Marina for overnight and long-term boat stays.
